| Korean pharmaceutical and cosmetic
products have garnered an outstanding
reputation, and have been embraced the
world over. Since 1947, Korea Pharmaceutical
Traders Association (KPTA) had dedicated
itself not only to the pharmaceutical
industry, but also to stimulating the
import and export of its products. The
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Business,
which is mandated by KFDA, is now fully
operational and proving to be successful
in its endeavors. The motto of KTPA
is to supply outstanding service and
secretarial functions to its members.
This spirit has proven to increase
our share in the global marketplace.
Our ultimate target is to expand our
international business, as well as
our infrastructure. Overseas relationships
are not built in a day. By taking
advantage of FTA, our organization
is poised to establish strong relationships
with North American and European markets.
With our burgeoning success we aim
to provide our exceptional products,
from API to finished goods, to the
rest of the world.
XpoPharm, which is co-held by CMP
and KPTA, has successfully hosted
a pharmaceutical exhibition in Korea
since 2004. The opportunities created
for exhibitors and patrons to communicate
have produced fruitful results. Both
organizations will continue to develop
the merits they provide for overseas
and domestic exhibitors. It is essential
to expand and create attractive incentives
for all visitors. Due largely in part
to its ability to recruit remarkable,
international speakers, the conference
has accrued a fine reputation. We
are pleased to invite you to the 2008
