The
Korea Specialty Chemical Industry
Association(KSCIA) was established
in March, 1985. Its purpose is
to contribute to the national
economy and to mutually enhance
the |
|
welfare of member companies, by developing
new fields for the specialty chemical
industry, and to achieve balanced growth
in the industry's various sectors through
information and research service.
Now the association has 103 company
members and 17 other chemical organizations
related with all the chemical industries
includes specialty chemical industry.
Main Activities are consulting for exploratory
directions of the frontier as well as
long-term development of the specialty
chemical industry, informational service
for member companies through holding
workshops and seminars, etc. Distribute
to support R&D of companies by management
of several funds. Moreover, worldwide
trends for protect human health and
environmental makes new environmental
regulations such as EU REACH, then KSCIA
support companies can be well prepared
for those regulations.
Also, distribute to all kind of actions
regarding with protection of the ozone
layer such as public education, collection
international information and fund management
of controlled substances to help companies
and research institutes to develop new
substitutes for CFC, Halon and so on..
Furthermore, there are activities related
to maintaining conformity with international
chemical weapons convention.
Publish several magazines and documents
related to the specialty chemical industry,
such as Specialty Chemical Bulletin(Quarterly),
CFC Information(Quarterly) and so on.
All of staffs of KSCIA are willing to
serve for development of Specialty Chemical
Industry
